Filming and Editing Interviews

Two Day Course

Overview

The skills required to shoot and edit interviews and ‘talking heads’ are more and more in demand.

Whether you need to film interviews of satisfied customers for a promotional film or website, or interview someone to accompany a news story, this course will provide the skills and expertise to ensure you produce well-prepared, well-edited informative on-camera interviews.

The course looks at the equipment you will need, how to set up and light your interview and make the best of the location, how to ask the right questions, how to edit your footage with Adobe Premiere to get your message across clearly and effectively, and finally how to optimise your interview for the web or DVD. You need no filming or editing previous experience to attend this course.
